I am a multi-talented writer, director, producer, and journalist who specializes in creating socially-driven films that elevate untold, powerful stories about underrepresented communities and holding power to account. Before pursuing film, I was a multi-award-winning investigative journalist who specialized in long-form stories and documentaries, most recently working as an investigative reporter at FOX13 in Memphis, Tenn.  I worked countrywide for over seven years as a local television news reporter. In Johnstown, Pa., I investigated the scheme of how several Pennsylvania dioceses settled clergy sex abuse cases, and I investigated the misuse of drug asset forfeiture funds.
